Buck Knives

The buck knifes history can be dated back to 1902 when Hoyt Buck became a blacksmith and learned to make knives at the age of 13. In 1941 he became known for making knives by hand and set up blacksmith shop in the basement of his church when learning the military did not have enough knives for the troops.

In 1947 the H.H. Buck and Son company was born and produced 25 hand made knives a week. It was during the 50's that the knives were then produced in quantity and marketed to the masses.

In 1963 the first folding buck knife was introduced and became an instant hit. There are many different styles and type of buck knifes available today and any serious hunter or outdoorsmen owns one.
