question about antique sword/knife?
Wednesday, January 5th, 2011What is this knife thing? (Pic) Antique? Help Identify?
Sunday, December 12th, 2010I’m not sure what this is called? To me it looks like a 2 prong serving knife but I’m just not finding anything like it on Google. It has a wooden sheath to slide into and protect it, looks vintage, maybe not antique, I don’t know. I uploaded the picture on ImageShack, so it’s a safe link. Any help is much appreciated!

Did men carry folding fruit knives in the Victorian era, or were they for ladies?
Saturday, November 27th, 2010My boyfriend collects knives, and I love antiques from the Victorian era…but know nothing about knives and would like to buy one as a gift for him. I have found some beatiful silver, folding fruit knives with mother of pearl handles but many of them have women’s names engraved on them. I can’t find any information saying whether they were only carried by women or also for men. I would also appreciate tips on what to look for in a Victorian pocket knife since I know nothing about it.
Antique WWII Knife?
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010I have an antique swiss army pocket knife, and I want to know more about it. I have search every where, but can not find any information on it. It has three blades on it, a big one, and two smaller ones. It has a Nazi and a SS symbol on it. It also says Solingen Germany on it. In the middle of the larger knife it has Adolf Hitler’s signature and it says “Drittes Reich”.
If anyone can find any information on this knife, I would be very greatful. Thank you.
